November 4th, Annual Dinner

October 16th, Craig LeClaire/Rich Vacca Scholarship Trail Race

10:00AM at the Grafton Community Barn. An amazing 5k trail run through beautiful Grafton Land Trust property. Proceeds benefit the Craig LeClaire/Rich Vacca Scholarship at Grafton High School, the Grafton Land Trust and the Community Harvest Project. On site registration begins at 8:30. October 15th, Presidents' Pancake Breakfast and Fall Colors Hike 8:00AM to 10AM

Join us for our Annual Pancake Breakfast and Fall Color Hike at the Community Barn! An amazing breakfast will be catered by the Buggy Whip, featuring delicious pancakes, genuine maple syrup and other breakfast essentials (scrambled eggs, sausage pattties, fruit juice and coffee, tea or milk)! October 9th, Big Pumpkin Trail Ride

Get yourself dressed up, along with your favorite horse, and enjoy a 10 mile long course. The trail ride centers around Potter Hill and Martha Deering Properties, with the start and finish at the Brigham Hill Community Barn (37 Wheeler Rd). For a registration form, click here.

September 24th, Tufts Open House

The Tufts Open House is a great place to tell folks our wonderful story and encourage more to join! This is a great event with fun activities for the whole family.

September 11th, "Good Dog Trail Race and Canine Social"

3:00PM at the Grafton Lion's Club. Dogs, bring your humans for a canine social, and a 3 mile trail run/walk in Gummere Woods. For photos of this year's race go to: https://picasaweb.google.com/GraftonLandTrust/GoodDogRun2011#.

May 22nd, Members-Only Island BBQ- We enjoyed burgers, hot dogs and a whole lot of fun on Fletcher Reserve (Silver Lake Island) for an Island BBQ. To see more about this great event, click here.

May 1st, Quinsigamond River Canoe/Kayak Adventure

The GLT took to the water for our Annual Canoe/Kayak Adventure. We really had a blast, and take a look at these photos to see just how perfect a day it was!

April 16th, Community Day & Earth Day Celebration
Thanks to all the volunteers who helped us in our annual celebration of Earth Day! We cleaned up the streets, rivers, lake and trails! Check out these cool pictures ....Riverside Park never looked cleaner!

April 17th, Spring Trail Clean Up

A team of all-start trail builders did a terrific job building and clearing a trail at Old Dawes Pond. Check out these pictures.

March 25th - 27th , Cultural Council Art Show at the Municipal Center- The GLT presented 4 cash prizes for:

Best Child's Nature Artwork (5yr -11yr)
Best Youth Nature Artwork (12yr-18yr)

March 6th, New England Animals! 10AM-12PM, at Community Barn
This exciting family friendly program featured animals we can find in our own back yards. We learned about each animal’s impact on their habitats. Featured Animals: Red Fox, Woodchuck, Skunk, Ferret, Snapping Turtle, Milk Snake, Tree frog, and a special guest - a Canadian Lynx!

February 26th, Tracking with Paul Wanta,
The GLT and MassAudobon sponsored this winter tracking program. We discovered some amazing tracks of fox, otter, mink and a host of other amazing wildlife with tracker, teacher and naturalist Paul Wanta of Wendall Depot MA. Photos

January 16th, Matinee Movie at the Barn, 1PM to 3PM
We met at the Barn to watch the AMAZING Discovery/Channel video Life. Good time had by all - check out these photos.
